What does the remote coaching program include?

 

Consultation.

The consultation phase allows us to get to know you firstly with a short phone conversation and then an in-depth video conference. During this process we discuss your history, your current position and what you want from the future. We do this through open and honest conversation and questions. The aim of this step is to decide YES or NO, about whether you are a good fit for a Base Training remote coach.

Assessment.

During the assessment phase, we gather more information on your past and current Lifestyle, Nutrition and Training. We do this through a client intake questionnaire, and through a variety of physical assessments chose specifically to suit you as an individual. With this information we will build an allostatic load score and decide upon the best approach and most appropriate for you to see improvements and move close towards your goal.

If you are unsure of what your goal should be we can utilise the information to build a personalised road map to success

Individualised Training Program.

During this phase we design and deliver you a bespoke program build around you, we do not hammer square pegs into round holes here, we ensure that you are at the centre of every decision made regarding your program design. The program design will include training in elements that include but are not limited to Lifestyle, Nutrition and Exercise. 

The exact content of the program will be completely designed around you and is not a template or cookie cutter group class program that forces an inappropriate program or rigid calorie restricting diet plan down your throat. 

Reflection and Refinement.

With daily communication from your coach and a monthly video conference to discuss your progress. We aim to leave no stone upturned and no question unanswered. We, should you want it, educate you how to manage your fitness for the rest of your life so that one day you will not need a remote coach and can manage it yourself. Through consistent reflection and refinement we ensure that your program adjusts as you improve, providing you with just enough challenge to progress. 

What is Remote Coaching / Online Personal Training?

Remote coaching aka online personal training utilises a combination of professional coaches, motivated clients and technology to deliver you results that last a lifetime. We thoroughly assess each client’s needs through consultation and physical assessments, no matter where you are in the world. Once we have collated the information we design a bespoke program tailored to your current ability, and deliver it through our mobile application Truecoach. This application allows you to track your progress, upload videos and questions, and even communicate with your coach. Throughout this process the program is constantly being revised to ensure that your goals are kept in mind.

How will you ‘coach’ me if you’re not in the gym with me?

Through the use of technology, we deliver your program for you to complete, each exercise is carefully selected and personalised to you, considering your current ability, fitness and confidence level. No matter what level you are you will never be left feeling like you cannot achieve. 

Through the use of video analysis that can be uploaded directly to our delivery platform straight from your phone we can ensure that you are carrying out any prescribed activity safely and effectively.

How will I know what the exercises that you give me are?

Every activity prescribed by your coach has been carefully selected to meet at your current ability level, they are designed to provide you with an effective challenge whilst keeping you safe and helping you learn new movements without even knowing it. Each exercise prescription comes with a demo video attached to it, so that you can see how to do the movement if you are ever in doubt. You can also upload a video of yourself should you want some coaching and analysis.
