At BASE, we believe your health is the best investment you can ever make for yourself and your loved ones, and this is why.

Deep down, we all know that prioritising our health is absolutely key for a happy, long-lasting and vital life. We all also instinctively understand that when we move often, eat well, drink enough water and get good quality sleep, life feels easier.

When we focus on our health consistently in this way, we begin to thrive and can make better choices to help bring our goals to fruition. We not only make our current lives more productive and enjoyable when we consistently focus on fitness – we also invest in our future selves, ensuring that our bodies remain strong and capable as we begin to inevitably age.

Essentially, we adopt a preventative rather than reactive approach to health and wellbeing, and allow ourselves to live life fully. Who wouldn’t want that?

Despite this knowledge, making the financial commitment to treat our bodies with the consistent love and attention they deserve can be quite challenging. We often falter when it comes to pay for high quality coaching, gym memberships and food. We settle for “good enough” instead.

Why?

Even making a commitment to doing the basics excellently can be tough, because we all have daily demands that can distract us. Our brains trick us into unhelpful habits and we naturally try to find shortcuts to save energy. Stress happens and we slip into old ways.

We may attempt a new routine from time to time, often around January, but without consistent, long-term support we begin to feel our willpower wavering and our motivation slipping away.

We may go the other way – pushing ourselves to the point of exhaustion or injury, which also requires us to step back and question our reasons for training without due care.

Before we know, it we are in a kind of debt and we begin the cycle of trying to work towards feeling good again (or even for the first time) from a place of deficit.

At BASE Training, we feel that this way of functioning is outdated. We don’t want you to have another year where you don’t see the results you desire. We want you to have a programme dedicated to YOU. A coach that is focused on YOUR success. We want you to have all the tools available so that you can keep on track, no matter what life throws at you. We want your happiness and health.
