CREATIVE WAYS TO EAT VEGGIES

Some people just don’t enjoy vegetables that much, which makes it hard to ensure they include them in every meal. In the name of all things good and healthy, you’ve got to eat them. Rather than force-feeding yourself, try these ideas and recipes to make something exciting out of your veggies and see enjoyment in eating them!

VEGGIES OVER GRAINS

Cauliflower rice instead of rice, zucchini or spaghetti squash instead of spaghetti. When you replace grains with vegetables they also soak up all the flavours of whatever you’re serving them with. It also cuts down in your overall carbohydrate intake per meal.

This is a popular trend, so popular that you can buy vegetables cut and prepared with the intention of replacing grains. However, if you can’t find the vegetables pre-cut in your local supermarket then throw it into a food processor or get yourself a vegetable spiralizer!
